Are these caps correct?

I did a search but didn't come up with anything like this.. I'm working on a Rat clone and wondering about these caps I got, I ordered by value but they don't look anything like the ones in the Rat clone pcb pics I have. I bent one end over and down the side but before I finish wiring it up (waiting on a transistor anyway) I want to make sure these caps are ok to use...

yup they're fine, looks like you bought axial caps ( a lead at each end ) rather than radial caps ( 2 leads at one end ) ... same thing just placed on a circuit board differently. Axial usually lie down on the board like a resistor  :icon_wink:

just make sure the tops of the caps don't short to anything ....

ahh makes sense.. well I have to order some stuff for another project so I'll get the right ones now
