Quick Multi-Face Question

I've got a Multi-Face that I've almost finished. I wanted to add a 1m pot in place of the 100k feedback resistor, but how do I wire up the pot? Sorry if it's a dumb question, and thanks in advance for your help.

simple=

-take a the log pot (B) and turn it completely counterclockwise, at zero
-now discover with your multimeter between which set of lugs (1 and 2 or 2 and 3) the resistance goes up as you turn it
-those lugs are the ends of your variable resistor.

if you find the right value, measure it after you've disconnected the pot
