To my suprise this really is a decent pedal. I used 741 and a tl071 for the opamps and 2n3904's for the trannies/ I also tried 5088's and 5089's and with out much difference . Some of the caps were not exact, such as a .015 was more like a .01 ect.. but it still gave a nice variety of sounds. I dont thing exact matters much here. I can only really say that if you etch your own board be certain to have  good,  sturdy, and small drill bits, and your good to go.

Update- So I had more time to play with this and now I have to say this is one of my new favorite fuzz/distortion pedals. On my clean channel it gives me a GREAT distortion sort of heavy fuzz without any squealing or feedback. When I roll back the volume on my guitar it sounds great too/ very subtle.  It really is surprisingly quiet! I did make another change in that I use a 250KB pot for the tone rather than the required 100ka. For the 1n4001 I use a 1n4002 . I made sure I used sockets for the ic's and the transistors.
