freakoutfuzz + pushme/pull you

hey guys,

i have some plans for a costum build..

i saw the freakout fuzz and i love the simplicity of it!
i want to combine it with a octaver (switchable on/off), i chose the push me / pull you from circuit snippets...

My idea:
In ---> -------- > fuzz ---> out
              or
          Octaver

My design includes 2 trimpots (for the octaver) and one master volume (from the fuzz)

Is this gonna sound? is it gonna work? and does someone have a perfboard layout for the push me / pull you... (that saves me some work)
Tips/hints/suggestions/ do's and don't?
