60's bluesy sound?

i have tried alot of pedals and builted some,
Now i use my old BOSS DS-1, that's it man.
it's you fingers that will do it....
go ahead and buy one (35-40$) , you wont regret it.

  I used to use a DS-1, sounded pretty good to ok.
  I traded, mistake.
  Got a DS-1 [newer-ish], the tone knob dialed mud to harsh.
  Traded for a DS-1, the tone knob dialed from mud to harsh.
  I have one here sounds like crap, harsh or mud choice still, I swapped the OA for a standard dual, swapped the pedal out.
  As you can probably tell I'm not a fan of the DS-1, but haven't tried the newer-ish, newer, or newest ones...lol.

hummm,
mine (DS-1) is from the metal screw days (1978 or so)
the OA has everything to do with sound,
the other day, i tried to find the schematics but could not find, they have changed since then.
