Any ideas of making a behringer VD-1 into a "full" Big muff?

's been a (way too) long time...
I've seen this Bancika is so out of this world: such a nice software effort! thumbs up! 

By the way guys:
I have a daughter too right now since september: Febe (A bit like a Dutch way of saying "Phoebe", but more like "Fay-buh" to you) ! such a sweet heart breaker...
I wish having such nice kids to everyone.

Now back to business:

I'm planning of getting a VD-1 to break it open and tweeak it into a Bif muff with switchable emitter mod (creamy dreamer).

ANy hints?

  Huge amounts of info, try 'Big Muff Mods'...Yun and...a bunch of us were tinkering with the BMP's.
  I don't know what those VD boards look like, you might have to opt for a regular sized BMP Board to really do any mods...there are a ton of mods, thing is figureing out which ones you will want before you try them...or try 'em all.. Good Muff, I like to leave a little gain room for slamming the Muff's input with a separate booster..

There was a thread here a while back about the VD, and I think you will have your hands full trying to make it sound like a BMP.  I spent an hour in a music store a while back comparing some BMPs, and the VD was really weak compared to the EH versions.  At the very least you will have to replace the transistors, and the stomp switch is very ghetto.  All this is complicated because the pedal is SMT which (in case you don't know) means every component is tiny.

You could do it, but I'd just build one from scratch or buy a Little Big Muff.
