Does anyone know where to get a multi-tapped transformer for the spyder at 240v? The only one I've seen is at Weber which is 120v. Also, what is the 9v winding on that transformer for? Thanks

IIRC the 9v winding is if you just want to leave it at 9v AC power without rectifying it.

You could use individual transformers...I don't think you're gonna find anything similar without getting something custom built.  You could always just use a Weber with another step down transformer.

is it because you are in australia? you can pull one out of HEAPS of different appliances that you would chuck out. take out the transformer and measure it. don't forget that the voltage will drop a few after the regulating stage, so around 12 volts should be fine right guys?

I'm in the UK. The transformer has 8 separate windings at 11v. Has anyone made one in the UK?

Mr Huge has some spyder like PS for sale on the for sale area.  It has 240v input.

Where's the for sale area? I can't find it.
