Hello all.
Things are good, I finally got my AMZ overdrive working.  Hey, it was my first project.
Anyhow.
Now I'm about to wire up the Guvnor, and the pcb calls for led's in 2 locations on the board.  What are these for and what do they do?  That's going to determine where they go on the case, if they even are even going to be there.  Plus there's no polarity reference.

Thoughts?

Those are used as clipping diodes, 3mm red LED's to be exact to the original.
The cathode is marked as the end with a line on schematics " >l " .... this end of the triangle
the anode is the "positive" side and is normally the "longer leg" of a new LED.
Of that pair, which you need, each one faces opposite direction with relation to "ground"
either one each way doesn't matter, so long as one has cathode to ground and one anode to ground.
Without them, you wont get very much distortion !!
They will "light up" slightly, so you could have them poking out of the enclosure :D
