Boss GE-7 noise mods

What's the best and lowest noise IC to replace the existing one with? The NE5532, TL072 of RC4559?
And second, just exactly what is the so called sniper mod? The guy's site seems offline. Any part lists or a schematic?

Thanks Marty! One last question though: which poly caps did you use? Will the ones in the link work? I don't know a lot about the physical size of these things but I gather they must be quite small.

For smaller caps, up to 470n ( 0.47uf ) smallbear panansonic's are fine
for the 1 uf get the minature version, smaller the better !
My 1uf's are 5mm square and 11mm high .... just fits !!
I replaced a 1u5 tantalum with a 1ufpoly - no difference in tone, just less grit
