DIY Deluxe Reverb Reissue Footswitch?

You mean a DIY footswitch, or a DIY Deluxe reverb amp footswitch?

It has been common practice across a great many classic tube-based amps that the reverb footswitch simply ties the reverb return path to ground.  And the reissue of the '65 blackface is no different.  All the footswitch does is tie the input lug of the reverb intensity pot to ground.  keep in mind that if you wish to make your own, the cable you use MUST be shielded, given that it is connected to the audio path and given how exposed an unshielded cable of that length would be to sources of acquired noise.
