RG6/U Quad Shield good for stompbox or amp work?

I can pick up 1000ft of this 1000ft RG6/U Quad Shield for around 50$ locally. Is this of any use for FX or amps? looks like this:

That's not RG6/U for starters. RG6 is 75ohm video coax used for TV antennas etc. That looks to me like CAT5E data cable

No. RG-6 Quad Shield is not good for stompbox use.

Fortunately, that is not RG-6, which is a thick, multiply shielded coax cable. That's ethernet cable, probably CAT5 as the previous poster said.

It's usable, but being pre-twisted and solid copper, it's hard to get pieces out to use and cut/strip them well without nicking the wire so it breaks when it's bent.
