Im plugged into my flatline comp and im running 18V into it

to my ears it kinda sounds better. I was wondering if any of you guys have tried this?

BTW i built as per the schematic

I've never tried this.
By "better", do you mean cleaner?

hi markm,

well it made the flat line "flatter". I use it on bass and there seems to be a slight hump on the low mids when i was running it at 9V. At 18V, it sounds flatter and the top end shimmer is better. I really couldnt hear any difference from my bypassed tone and I even had to run it through my envelope filter just to actualy hear it "sustaining".
