DS-1. No signal at input cap ?

I built the TA7136 ver of DS1 using Tonepad layout. I got no sound at all when plug in. Then i use audio probe to trace, i got no signal at the input cap (0.047uF) after the input jack. I replace another cap but problem persist. I check for cold solder but couldnt found anything suspicious. Any idea ?

Mystery solved. It happened that i use the 2SC2240 from BOSS DS-1 to replace the 2N5088 as suggested by Tonepad. The pinout of 2SC2240  is different compared to 2N5088. But i wonder why it would cause the signal loss at that point.
