I followed the AMZ Super Buffer from the VERO board layout off  the gallery.

Very little sound and its thin and harsh sounding and also the battery gets very hot after about

10 seconds. What did I do wrong.

I followed the layout as written and made no subs. Please help.

Hi
you've got a short circuit from V+ to ground.
The super-buffer is op-amp based isn't it?
Check that the chip is oriented correctly and that it the V+ line runs to pin 7 (single op-amp) or pin 8(dual) without diversion to other lines (especially pin 4, ground).
cheers
