USA Big Muff question

I got a Made in USA big muff reissue today. When taking a look at the board, I noticed 2 large 220uF caps in there (C14/C15), which I cannot find on any schematic. There also seem to be some extra resistors around there. Can anyone please explain what all these are for, and why the circuit is different than most other Muffs?

  Glance at the values [BFCaps] I guess they're for PS Filtering, can't think why something that bigga value would be in signal path or source bypassing, or TC-ing.

Yep, PS filtering is my guess too.

  R26 looks like part of the filtering...
  If so, the power supply passes through the 100ohm, then to the BFC caps + side.
