:icon_evil:I have just built the dallas rangemaster, layout by andrew carrell.Got normal sound in bypass mode and no sound when switched on, I couldn't get a oc44pnp as specified I was told a 2sb75 was a suitable alternative.I have double checked all wiring and  component placing has anyone got any ideas why it isn't working.

Two first things to indicate are:

1) a working link to the layout you are using
2) the voltage readings with respect to ground taken at the Emitter, Base and Collector of the transistor

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.
