Bass Players: Input Cap values for Compressor?

I'm modding my Ross Comp to make it more suitable for bass;  I did the variable recovery and treble response mods, and now I'm tweaking the input cap.  I don't have a ton of high-value caps laying around though.  I tried a 0.64uf and a 0.47uf cap, which seemed a bit like over kill to me.  0.22 was a little better.  The stock value is a 0.01uf.  Does anyone have any values they found to be just right that they'd like to share before I go and buy some more parts?  I'm guessing around 0.1uf will be the spot, but I'm just looking for any suggestions.

 Yep, 0.1uf is usually fine for bass.
