EHX Flanger Hoax really meeds 500mA?

wondering if the EHX Flanger Hoax really needs 1/2 Amp to work correctly?

Hi Fai: your 200mA may be enough...
(IIRC ~ 150mA max. ; can`t measure it right now, coz I don`t have a spare plug/jack to insert a meter).

Try it! it should work.

But: if your central supply is a switchmode converter (i.e.: not 50 or 60Hz transformer),
there is a slight, tiny chance that you may experience heterodyning noise ("Whining")
from interferences of the supply-clock and the Hoax clocks.

(but it ought to NOT happen  )
