Got an old Issue J small stone, works perfectly.

Want to mod it for LED (later), True Bypass and install normal power adaptor/battery snap.

I got the schemo and wired it like shown below, but all I am getting is HUM.
What did I do wrong?
If youve TB'ed your EH Small Stone, you probably know.

-Lug 1 is empty... will add LED once I get TB working first...
-The DPDT toggle to the right is the color switch...

THANKS.

It sounds and looks like a grounding issue. Are your input and output and color switch grounds also going to the board ground at any point? If not, I'd just run a ground wire from the input ring to the output ring, then from the input ring to the board ground.

Also, You want to have the (-) on your battery snap going to the sleve of the input. Otherwise, your battery will drain even when it's not connected.

I'd check your effect inputs and outputs too. You may have them swapped.

Are you getting hum only when enabled? or when it is bypassed too?

Also, get that LED connected, because that can help you with the debugging as well.
