hey guys

was going to build a booster like the SHO

i used a sho and liked the boost - didnt like the dc across the pot

does the AMZ Mosfet Booster give the same sort of results as the SHO without the "scratchness ok"

It's similar to the SHO but, a completely different animal really.
No "crackle okay" on the AMZ.

if we were talking results of the pedal - is the amzmofset booster like the sho or more like the mxr micro amp

i cant say ive ever used a boost quite like the sho - just when you thought your amp had reached its clean volume limit - the sho makes it go twice as loud.

thats the type of boost im looking for - am i barking up the wrong tree?

I would call the AMZ closer to the SHO than the MicroAmp however, it is still different.
I consider this to be closer to the SHO
