I recently gutted my crybaby and put in a clyde mccoy board as per the layout at www.fuzzcental.ssguitar.com.  I believe I settled on a 51k resistor in parallel with the inductor, all other values being stock.  My question is, how could I take some of the treble off the sweep of the wah (making the tone darker at the toe-down position) without shifting the whole sweep of the pedal bass-ward.  I dont want any more bass in the heel-down position.

One thing I saw on a site is to put a small cap (0.022 or smaller perhaps) on the lugs of the hotpotz.  Never tried it myself but in theory this should work to smooth out the highs while not moving the pot position.

Another would be to put a 'tone control', like on Rocket, which takes a bit of HF and shunts it to ground, something I've considered doing to my wah but haven't gotten around to it.
I haven't seen it done alot, but certainly does make sense that it would..add a nice TC option to wah sound, reduceing noise as well as offering possibly greater latitude for voicing the circuit...ie let a bit more highs in the inductor, but shave them at the end.
A simple variable resistor/capacitor strung between signal output and ground.

Have you tried just readjusting the Pot? simplest solution?
