Hello I guys, I am new here and was wondering if anyone could help me out with some Vox V847 Wah mods. I'm not too seasoned yet in pedal mods, but I am learning. My question is, could someone explain the procedure on how to swap resistors with trimpots, I am wanting to add trimpots to the volume, and the bass and gain. Thanks for any info. :icon_exclaim:

If you connect trimpot center leg to one of the outer leg, then the trimpot is a varible resistor with two leads just like resistor. Then solder the res out, and trimpot in. If you want to know where the resistors are in the wah, i cant help.

Thanks for the info, is there anyway you could draw me a diagram?

Really? ;D :icon_eek: I could but i dont know how to send pictures here.
But trimpot has 3 legs, so solder the middle leg( number 2) to leg number 1 or 3. Then you have two legs (or leads) just like resistor have. Then swap the resistor with that trimpot you made. Dont you have a diagram of the mods you want to make? You should know the values of the needed trimpots and so on before you can do anything...
