Advice on PCB design

Hey guys. I tried this in the Beginner Project Thread, but this area seems to be much more active. I've been reading this board for months and have learned TONS! I've built some pedals with others' PCB designs, but I'm wanting to learn to design my own from schematics. Here's my first shot at the NPN Boost (Beginner Project). I've yet to etch a hard copy, so it may not even work. I'm not really sure where it's OK or not OK to run traces/place components/etc, so feel free to advise. If it's "that bad," then I hope somebody will tell me!! I'm eager to learn. Thanks to everyone who contributes to this site!!
