I use front mounting bezels, wiht inbuilt leds... the problem is, when testign stuff, I have to unsolder the wires to the bezel :icon_mad:

I'd be happy to use some small coupling thing - any recommendations for something easy to connect? Maybe by crimping? (I'm over soldering this shit!)

Hey Paul -

I've been using solderless LED connectors I found at Mouser for awhile now with no issues. Check out the pages before and after the one in the link for more options.

Hi Paul,

For this type of thing I normally use a 2 pin  0.1" pin spacing "molex type" crimp connector from Altronics (P5472) . Have the header (P5492) on PCB and solder wires on to the LED. When you need to pull the thing apart just unplug from the PCB. I normally solder onto the pins. It's more reliable and the crimp tools are stupidly expensive. I have seen products using the same connector shells (female) to go directly on to LED's as well. Just put a dab of glue on when you're done.

You still have to solder, but only once!

Cheers,
Stew.
