Hi

I recently bought a 3-knob memory man with chorus switch an boost in. The pedal works great with clean guitar but with a Rat or big muff  before it there is a major drop in volume. Can this be fixed? It's been rewired to true bypass with the input wired to boost in on the board haven't tried to change the input to unboosted one can this be it ??
Need help!!!!!!

You could try increasing the feedback resistor in the boost stage. I believe it's 220K. Try a 390K, and that should give you enough snort.
I like amps etc.

I don't see how this could be. How could it get softer unless you have the Rat or Muff really loud and when you switch it off, the memory man cannot compete with the Rat or Muff boost. In that case, simply turn down the Rat or Muff and turn UP your amp.

I've noticed my MM does not work well w/fuzzfaces...and I believe they have a rather high output impedence.
My new Omega (damn I luv it!) works well w/the MM....and has a low out z....so maybe that's the issue.

I've messed around a bit with different dist. before the MM. The Boss Heavy metal and The Red lama works like it should with no change in volume  but Rat and BMP is still the same. Tried turning the volume down on the Rat +BMP....there's still a big volume drop.I also have a deluxe MM and the volume thing doesn't happen with that one.
Can raising the input impedance on the MM cure my problem?
It's one of the best Memory men I've tried except for the distortion thing

I couldn't tell you how to mod the MM input.  I'm guessing the Boss output has a buffer (for low out Z).
I've had 3 MMs....(each a tad different in sound BTW)....& came to my conclusions after much experimentation (and frustration).  Perhaps read about buffers on RG & Jack's sites....easy to add to the pedals that won't work.

Hi
Problem finally solved!! I rebuilt the inputstage  to match that of the deluxe MM and now it works like a charm. Noticed that the LFO doesn't really keep up when you turn the delay-speed pot kinda like a having a delay with a built in LERA, probably not suppose to but very cool  sounding
