anyone ever made a real rotating speaker in a stomp box?

It has been a few years since I tried this, but the Nanoverb leslie sim sounded pretty good in stereo, useless in mono. Whether it was anything like the real thing I cannot honestly say--my last near-Leslie experiene was at an SRV concert in the mid '80s. But the Nanoverb rotating did sound good. I had it in the fx loop of a Fender Champ 25SE, outputs to the Champ fx return and the low-gain input of a Deluxe Reverb.

It certainly is. The inhalation trick used to be popular with electrical engineers, as SF6 is commonly used as a gaseous electrical insulator for high-voltage installations. There are several reported cases of serious infections setting in after failing to clear the lungs of the gas, since the gas blankets the lung tissues from oxygen, and the tissues die. However, SF6 is almost entirely chemically inert.

The 'boat' demo is really cool, though.  :icon_biggrin:
