I was wondering if it is possible to change the dyna comp project on GGG to the demeter comp spects. I would also want to take the inside trim out and make it a external pot.

Thanks for your help

  No Problem !
I was wondering if it is possible to change the dyna comp project on GGG to the demeter comp spects
  Yes.
What's a demeter, I assume about the same as the dyna schematic wise/
Any further discussion without schematic information as reference will be confusing...unless someone has a paint by numbers method.
I would also want to take the inside trim out and make it a external pot.
EZ...connect as many wires to the pot as the pot position uses, right to the potlugs-feet [probably possible], clip the feet off the lugs, so the wires you attached are intact. Measure the trimpot, determine any linear taperness you'd want, replace to same orientation as the trimpot, using the new wires, with correct value, chosen taper pot.
Consider working with the Dyna with or without the demeter as a reference.
with...get the schematics and make the dyna board show values as a dem board does.
without...
Figure out what you want the Dyna to not do and do, tell all, these questions have [surely?] been answered in the form of direct hits in the form of modifications, or 'consultation information'.

Well I have not been able to find a schematic for the demeter comp. Is it possible to change the parts of the dyna comp so its less of a obvious comp sound but to still have it do its classic compression?

I was also somewhat confused of when you ment on the pot part.

Thanks

Why?  :icon_confused:

I don't think that it'll be so easy to turn Dyna Comp into Compulator. From what I can see Demeter uses optocoupler...

Is there a way to make the dyna sound somewhat closer to the demeter?

2nd question. If i am putting the dyna into a multi effects unit how should i wire the jacks to the next pedal since they are soldered to the board?

3rd can someone go more in depth with bringing the inside trim pot to a out side pot?

Thanks So much!

There would be no purpose for having the balance trimmer on the outside of this build.
It's only function is to set the balance of the OTA.
As a control it would be useless......set it and forget it!  :icon_wink:
I think you may be confusing this with something else perhaps.

From what I have read for active pickups and passive pickups different settings are better.
That is the reason I want it outside.

Never, ever heard of that.
Interesting....I think  ???

So i opened my dyna and saw the 2 solder points. I assume I would just de solder that and install a pot. What pot would I use for this? How do I wire it?
