hey guys,
is it very hard to incorporate some sort of battery on/off switch in a pnp pedal (so you wouldn't have to unplug and could leave it on your pedalboard)?

for instance, in a fuzz face circuit, would you just be wiring up an spst switch to break the -9v connection to the board?

Meanderthal

Sure, you could do it that way. That would apply to any pedal, neg or pos ground- interupting either side of the juice will do the trick. ;D

hey you're back!!  i haven't had time to respond to your email yet, but it's coming!

i'm glad to see you back here :)

how do people incorporate those switches into their pots- where you could turn it all the way down and it trips the switch?

Meanderthal

All ya gotta do is get a switching pot, like this:

Oh jeez, that's a push-pull switch! :icon_redface: But the other kind are available too(just not from smallbear AFAIK).

that's cool!  it's good to know both kinds exist.

i was just wondering, because whenever i figure this damn fuzz face out i was thinking it might be a good idea.
