I have a couple of questions about the types of parts to use for powering a pedalboard with a power supply(burkey flatliner).

Will this work with dc power?  I want to use it with my TS808 RI I believe it to be the right tip.
      1. How many volts can it handle DC?
      2. How does the wire connect with a crimp or solder?
      3. How does the sleeve stay in place a thread or is that a push on?

Which one would you use for the standard boss style jacks?
The Kobiconn can only handle 24V, 1.5A  and the Switchcraft can handle ?V, and 5A
I would guess the Switchcraft would be a better choice for reliability right?  Since it can handle more amps.

Would this be a good choice for a DC jack? Or is there a better one?  (i am rehousing a RM rocket octavia and adding a DC jack)

Do I need to have a filter on this DC jack?  If so how do I add one?  Do I need overvoltage protection too?

Finally what wire is good for this job?  SB sells some zip cord but its 22awg.

I am going to be placing orders to Mouser, and Small Bear, and possible Banzai for other supplies so if there are any parts for the power supply cables you would recommend from any of these suppliers please post them.  Thanks
