Das Musikding patchcord connectors from Das Musikding ( Germany)

Has anybody used the above product? they seem quite inexpensive but do they work well?, ie are they transparent and noise free? the plugs are plastic molded and I'm not sure whether they are shielded or what sort of quality the cable is.
I usually make my own from newtrix jacks and short lengths of high quality cable but i don't know whether its over kill
as it works out to be quite costly and a hassle to do.
