Hi,

As far as I know there is no dedicated board for Phillip Bryant's (Fuzzcentral) excellent Liquid Drive (http://fuzzcentral.ssguitar.com/liquid.php), so to learn DIY Layout Creator I thought I'd do a perf. It's loosley based on a PCB that gaussmarkov and I are working on in fits and starts.

Can someone, sometwo or maybe even somethree please cast their critical eye over this and make sure everything is connected to what it should be and nothing else? Critical comments always taken on board. If all is well I'll put up the .diy file at storm-software as well as wherever else I can. Anyone feel like tossing it in with their bundle in Aron's gallery?

Many thanks,

hey dd,

way to go, man!  :icon_cool:

one quick thing caught my eye.  for a perf layout, it's good practice to keep the ground "draining" in one direction, with
no "loops."   you have a loop that's connected to R2, R3, C2, D1, C4.  if this were a pcb, you  could fill in all that board
space with copper.  but with a perf layout, it's going to be empty.

you could just remove that ground wire that is going to the southwest corner.

other than that, it looks great!

all the best, gm :icon_biggrin:

Corrected layout. I'm resisting the urge to realign things. I could move C7 down, C5 up, and the diodes and C6 across one for starters, but it's still going into the same enclosure.

Thank you Mr GM- it was sloppy of me. I can now even remember when I did it and what distracted me! ;)

Further comments are welcome.
