I am fixing a guy's Big Muff for him and it looks like the switch has gone to vintage part heaven.  The only replacements I have handy are 3PDT's.

I don't want to TB or mess with the circuit in any way, I just want to get it working for him.

SO:

How would the 3PDT equivalent wiring for this go:

volume control --- (jumper) ---

output jack      ---               ---    input jack

Thanks!

Just ignore the third row on the 3pdt.  Instant DPDT.

Hmmm... but the original stomp switch only has 4 poles, not the six that would be left over from ignoring that 3rd row on the 3PDT.

Hence my uncertainty and confusion.

If you look in the "Beginner Project" section on the forum main page there is a section for wiring switches. It's not difficult but you'll need a schematic so you can pin-point where to attach your wires.
