how about a compressor?

hello all

I built one of these lil op amp subs for my Tube Reamer and I love love love it. I'm wondering whether it would be possible to get one into a compression circuit like a Dynacomp. But the Dynacomp uses a 3080 I believe, which is not an op amp but an OTA? Would it be possible to use one of these im place of an OTA? I'm afraid I don't understand all of the salient issues, so I turn to you all for help.

hmmm... how about in an orange squeezer... just one half a dual op amp in that. Wouldn't be a transparent compressor anymore, but the extra character might be cool... might have to try that.
