Okay I bought 10 of these... They are apparently Ge in a t01 package.  They have BA1026 on them.  But I can't find that part anywhere.

This is stupid answering my own post but...  ::)

I think it might be a Si tranny of the ilk 2n1026.  If so what the heck do I do with it.

TO5's IIRC were often used for small power amps and the like.  You could make a small amp with it, or a fuzz.  Since it is a relatively big transistor, if you run at low currents you might get a more "germanium" sound.  Worth a try.
