I often wonder how they can actually sell clones and not get sued?

Is it because its in a kit form, instead of an assembled product?
So instead of selling a clone, they are selling you a bunch of parts
and the instructions to building one.

I'm sorry if i seem to be answering my own question.

OMG! So ethics aside... it actually IS alright to clone, as long as you don't name use the
originator's trademarks and patents and name.
