Hi gents have a dumb question. I amm building or trying to, a fuzzface from tonepad the pelud=sa face and am stumped by the way I shoud wire in the battery. Do I hookup the +9v to the ring of J1 and the -9Vto the -9V on the PCB??. I am confused because it also has a pad for the GND. ??> help me somebody.
Thanks

  maybe yes.
and the -9Vto the -9V on the PCB??.
  Seems fairly likely
I am confused because it also has a pad for the GND. ??>
If you think you're confused, I don't have a schematic or the build to look at.
  help me somebody.
Ok, *assuming it's a PNP FF, positive ground with input jack switch 'trick...
The *Gnd [which'd be V+] is 'switched through the input jack ring through input plug sleeve to input jack sleeve. [pull the plug sleeve out and Jack ring/sleeve isn't connected, breaking the PS/Gnd. connect]
All points marked Gnd. should be..grounded, I/O jacks, PCB, Q1e, Gain pot and cap, power supply Gnd.
PCB, Q1E, Gain pot and cap are probably all connected with board traces, checking Gnd.s is easy..pick a Gnd. and see how many gnd.s measure 0.0v from gnd. or make the DMM beep.
The only point that gets power supply in FF is the top of Q1's Collector bias resistor.
