Hi,

I just made a Red Fuzz vero layout... I never could find one and it's a great circuit... Would anyone be willing to help me verify it ?

It's not very small and could be alot better... but it's my first layout so... here it is :

Thanks for any help you can provide !

Good job solarplexus.
Here's what I see:

1.  You need a trace cut under C1, otherwise it is shorted.

2. D1 and D2 need to connect to pin 6 (only R3 connects to the intensity pot)

3. C7 needs to move down one rail and connect to R7, not the jfet gate.

4. You need a trace cut between the wires for Tone lug 1 and tone lug 2, otherwise this pot is shorted.

Here's a corrected version :

Is this one ok ??

Any other errors ??

Looks like your wire marked A is not connected to anything.  You could move it to anywhere in the b rail or e16.

You need a trace cut under C7

You don't need the trace cuts at c18 and d18

Otherwise, looks good to me.

I suggest to let space for a 6.8uf poly instead of the 10uf electro at the end. It sounds better... imho

Ok it's been awhile since I tried to finish this vero, but here's a revision that I would like you to help me verify.  I think it's ok to go, but I need a fresh pair of eyes...

Here it is :

You see any errors?

I think D should go to Tone lug 3.  On both tone and intensity, I'm not sure which lug should be 1 vs. 3 so you may need to swith these to make the pot turn in the right direction.  Just check before soldering wires to the pots.

If your jfet is a j201, the pinout is usually G-S-D as you have it oriented, NOT D-G-S.

Otherwise it looks good to me.

you mean Q1 is backwards?   The JFET is suposed to be a 2N5457
