I did see that list of distributors. Actually, I just worked out a sweet deal: I'm selling a DIY amp and getting a partial trade for it. Guess what I'm trading for - a nearly brand new ebow! How cool is that?!  :icon_surprised:

Got my ebow last night. It's an Ebow Plus with the harmonic mode, too. Pretty cool!

Been playing with it for a few hours total now. It's not too hard to get the hang of it.  :icon_cool:

I've never tried one of those sadly.  Always wanted one, damn you Paul for sticking it in my head again!  Probably my next buy.  :icon_cool:

Got to stir up some trouble once in a while.  :icon_wink:

I don't know how I went all these years without one - it seems to be a natural extension of my style!  :icon_cool:

be careful!! (scary warning) it can become an easy way out in the studio when scratching your head to find a cool guitar part on a song that doesn't seem to need one in the first place!! you'll end up e-bowing the whole song and regret it later (when comes the time to play it live...)  ;D

btdt...  :icon_rolleyes:   lol

OK, thanks. I don't think it will be a problem, but I wil keep that in mind.  :icon_cool:

hey paul, maybe you can tell me something.  i've seen/heard people ebow mid to high pitched notes a lot, but i was wondering- how does it deal with say, an open low E?  or better yet, an open drop C?  thanks!

It'll do a open Low E just fine. It's a bit tricky to using it on the High E and Low E strings because you have to hold it correctly. I'm sure it would work to on a Dropped C just as well. Would that be on a 7-string guitar?

EDIT: It's pretty cool how many different sounds/effects you can do with it. One of my favorites is running it across the strings while fretting a chord - that's a neat sound. Sort of like using it as a big old pick.  :icon_wink:

And still as expensive as ever... too bad!
Really? Two tanks of gas in your Honda? Dinner and a movie with the girlfriend?
