Op amps in a cv lag circuit

I'm trying to add a lag processor to an 8 stage analog sequencer from the Geofex page.

I've looked at a bunch of CV glide circuits from synthesizers and they use something like this..

The asm1 synthesizer uses a 1M pot for VR1 and 1uf for C1.  My CV signal is 0-5v and my supply is 5v.  Would that work?

That circuit appears to use a bipolar power supply, so I don't think it will.

check this out  www.wiseguysynth.com

or Google this:  Stooge Larry's "Wise Guy" Synthesizer page

Then, go to "Schematics" , under diy and synth

and go to Harry Bissell's morph lag circuit

hope it's helpful

If you are using a single 5V supply you'll need a rail to rail op amp.

After reading this http://instruct1.cit.cornell.edu/courses/bionb440/datasheets/SingleSupply.pdf that makes sense.  A normal op-amp wouldn't behave when the CV was close to 0v or 5v.

Anyone know the part numbers for the more common (and cheaper) rail-to-rail op amps in DIP?  Something like a LMC6462 maybe?
