Help identifing these transistors

I found these 2N5088's in a 3 rd. edition big muff. Never seen them in this shape before like the old 5133's. Black top with white sides. Interesting 'butterfly' marking on them, full number is 2N5088 7431. Anybody no who made these or any other info on them? Check out the pic.

I've built 3 Big Muffs and the one I liked best used these.  Don't know about yours but mine had hfes up in the 700-800 zone.

The pinout on that style of transistor can be a little confusing for some folks more accustomed to a flat front.

7431 -> made on the 31rst week of 1974.

Teledyne it is! Thats the logo. These Hfe are also in the 700 to 800 range. Thanks for explaining the 7431 Sir H C.
