i built this and it has no output.  before i go and debug like a mofo, i thought i'd ask if the subs i made could cause this.

first, i did not have a 100K trimmer, so i put a 100K resistor in its place.  i'm not positive what this does, so i wasn't sure if that could cause a serious problem.  second, i didn't have a 10M resistor.  i replaced it with two 4.7Ms in series.

here's the layout: http://www.hollis.co.uk/john/crashsynclyt.jpg

please let me know if you have any ideas.  thanks!

Hi Mat, not sure if its any help but made a crash sync using Torchy's vero layout, subbed the trim pot for a normal pot whcih sort of controls sweep of fuzz also subbed afew resistors myself which didn't seem to do much harm and would have thought 9.4meg would be close enough to 10

I replaced the trimmer with a pot and without the trimmer/pot outside of the pedal, the effect would only be as half as good! I also noticed that a "35k Poti" (50k with a taper-resistor) has the best range.
