Well, the Tremulus Lune is a very nice tremolo, and apparently the Phaseur is very nice as well (but having just finished a Phase100 clone, no need for another phaser just yet).

Best regards,

Jarno.

And you can "barter" for stuff!!

I wasn't wowed by the phaser kit I bought. The rate control has all the change in the last 5% or so of the turn and a lot of the knobs need to be in very particular positions for it to do much.

Before I did any DIY, I had 4MS make me this:

It's a Noise Swash/Fuzz Jade. It was a lot of fun to play with but I ended up losing interest in "noisy" music and sold it. I also had a Panneur for awhile, it was also lots of fun.

I honestly think that some of 4MS's stuff is just as cool and complex and quality as super expensive boutique pedals, but they don't attempt to sell you a bunch of "mojo" crap, so they don't have quite the same mystique of a Lovetone or Tone Czar. (also note the lack of "tone" in their name - this is a crutch, because guitarists will buy anything if it has "tone").

I've been checking out the Bend Matrix. It's one of those things that I can see has a ton of potential, but I'm not sure what exactly I'd use it for.

I quite like the Nocto loco but it seems to be the only one without a schematic thats complete. I mean it's complete if you know whats going on but I can't quite figure out how the rotary pots are hooked in. Oh well, I've sent them a note saying I'll do them an effect build using one of their kits if they swap me some PCB's. Given I'll pick some sweet enclosure I've been keeping aside special.

That bend matrix is alot of stuff to build and I think you'd have to be well into your analog and digital synths to make it usable... as well as having a boat load of bargain basement circuit bend stuff on hand to play with...I'd look at it as an investment towards a happy retirement  ;D

I got some stuff from these guys when they had just gotten off the ground 2000, or so, fully built. Triwave Picogenerator and Noise Swash. A friend of mine ended up loving the Noise Swash so I gave it to him. Years later I finally built one- it was fun and sounds great, is not exactly like a Fuzz Factory etc as one might expect from reading descriptions

Lots of wiring - I bought their PCB but did the wiring offboard for chassis mount...was a LOT of work but worth it.

Just can't get the LED working, no matter how I troubleshoot it. Otherwise- fun to build, highly recommend

Maybe the LED is dead or has died?  :icon_confused:

Good golly, through trackin down Mr Dann Green of 4ms pedals I knocked into this site.
http://www.ciat-lonbarde.net/

all kinda noise makers in here and an emphasis on paper circuit stuff.

Which has me working out schematics for stuff like this.

My GOD  :o  this stuff is NUTS!

Yeah, I'd say your Led is dead too.

I really like the phaseur fleur. It doesn't do the classic phase 90 phase sound but you can get some great sounding chorus and vibe type sounds out of it. lots of depth to the sound and it excels at subtle slow pad type phasing, plus its quiet and takes overdrive really well.

The Tremulus Lune was my first build and the cardboard circuit board format was a great way for me to get my feet wet. I cannibalized it eventually though. Later I built a Phaseur Fleur and I still have it. It is really nice. It is true as the earlier poster said that not all settings yield great results, but once you figure it out, it's a great phaser. Very flexible.

I'm even thinking about doing other PCB builds using the cardboard for when I'm too lazy to etch.

I built the Tremulus Lune too, but a lot of their stuff is too knobby... with 30 knobs, how are you supposed to remember any given setting? lol... incredible stuff though, crazy.

Re: Dead LED,
Oh it's definitely dead, and the one I put in after it. I just can't figure out why it keeps happening, I checked polarities and there's also a resistor before the LED. I have to do some testing and paint the box and then this Noise Swash is a wrap...

OK, After have been listening to "BIG POO",  "BROWN BEAR" and "STORY" I wonder if the man is a guineas or if the stables are empty. Actually I don't care.  I just love it. It doesn't not get weirder

Ps. Tremolus Lune is my favorite Trem all categrys.  I have used the LFO part from the Lune to controll other circuts like the  Easy Vibe and a Dr. Quaqck sort of auto wha with very good result. Its so versitile.
