Don't you guys in the US have a "small claims" legal process?

Here in Australia you can get a court order for small amounts (typically 5 to 20 thousand) just by representing yourself, or by having a solicitor (rather than a barrister) represent you.  With a solicitor, the cost is likely to be a couple of thousand $.

I've had a couple of drawn out legal cases, which have only cost me 5k and 13k in costs.  My patent cost less than 1k (though I probably did 3k to 5k worth of unpaid research).  It is hard to imagine how you would spend $1M.

He's still around. His name is God.

Remember the La Brea tar pits?

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

When runoffgroove.com releases its new black goop project, we're going to encapsulate it in Fulltone PCBs.

Yeah, but I wonder if companies like Fulltone do it is a "cheap insurance" measure. I'm sure that they probably don't have anything actually patented, but who knows?

of course its a cheap protection mechanism..

im sure the epoxy all over the ocd delayed the schem being cracked by about a year.

by then fuller had made most of the money he's going to with that pedal.. then its on to the next pedal.

people on this forum dont generally like epoxy. but it works well as a time delay.
