Fender Hot Rod Footswitch

Hi,
I would like to build a footswitch for a hot rod deluxe. It has 2 switches, one to choose between the chanel clean and the chanel drive, other to select Drive, or More Drive in the drive channel.

I dont know if this schemactic is correct, so i ask for your help. I don't know if it is the footswitch schemactic, or the internal switching in the amp. The switchs cam be SPDT switchs, or they must be DPDT?




The cable to link the footswitch and the amp can be a normal coaxial stereo cable, or it's better to use speaker cable?

That looks like the footswitch. You should be able to use a regular mono cable for that. That's all that my Hot Rod DeVille needs for the channel footswitch.
