Transistors:

8 each  2n3906

Also numerous caps, resistors, diodes, led's, led holders.  ic sockets,  some power resistors and 2 each 10 turn 10Kohm pots.

Nice one! I love digining in old gear to salvage parts.

just wondering, using sorensens myself,

Wouldn't it have been worth using or, if required, fixing the thing have been a better deal ???
More stuff, less fear, less  hassle and less censoring? How 'bout it??. To discuss what YOU want to discuss instead of what others decide for you. It's possible...

But not at diystompboxes.com...... regrettably

Naw,  This old monster has been repaired once to many times.   When I opened it up the main circuit board hade one whole side fried to a crisp.  Last time it was fixed was 4 months ago.

I have a bunch more to salvage!

Peace!

Same here!
My "finds" are never quite as good though!  :(

i've got an old photography darkroom print dryer to open up, i'm not expecting to find much more than a heating element and a rheostat, but it's got a cool old red chicken head knob and a really neat metal dial underneath it with the settings marked on it.  I recently found a multifx unit from my high school days under the bench and i am looting it for the 100uF and 10uF caps it has a plethora of (10uF are useful to me because i build mostly bass fx).

On a similar note, I bought an old 80's stereo today looking for old JRC4558 chips. No luck tho. Has anyone had any luck finding any? If so what kind of gear was it in?

I have seen a couple of those in an old Kenwood stereo
