Exporting in Eagle

Ready to take the plunge and trying burning my board. I have some components that are in my schematic but aren't going to be board mounted, i.e. foot switch, jacks...
I just need to export the board and not the switch and jacks, so how do I do that and not have them included in the graphic? If I zoom on the board and "export window" I get just the board but it seems to fudge with the scale. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure how it works in Eagle but in the package I use (DipTrace), I create connectors in the schematic which correspond to pads that the off board components connect to.
I then drag the off board components outside of the board outline and position the pads where I want them.

It's a little hard to understand what exactly you're trying to achieve, but I'll take a stab at it.

Zooming in on the graphic isn't going to have anything to do with what you get from the fab house. You'll export the gerbers and the fab house will make a PCB that includes everything in those layers regardless of what you're looking at in Eagle or a picture viewer for an exported graphic. You have to make sure your brd file has only the components you want on the board.

If your problem is that you don't want the switch and jacks on the same PCB as the main effect, you need to make a completely separate board and schematic for those components and use pads for the connections that will end up going from one board to the other, or just pads for the off-board connections.

make another copy your layout sch/brd...to a seperate folder

then remove those offending parts...then save that.

then export
