HELP - How do I insert a picture?

How do I copy a picture into a post?  I've read the help section and can't figure it out.

open an account with photobucket.com or a similar site.  when you upload the pictures to their site, they will give you a code to embed the pictures.   just copy and paste that code here, and your picture will appear!
