I'm a noob. That should show with my question. I've "designed" a box that has two 1/4" outputs (left and right) along with 2 sets of 2 1/4" inputs. I'm making this for somebody that wants to select between stereo pair A or stereo pair B to go to the outputs. Here is my diagram:

Now, my first question is: will this work? My second question is: where do I connect the ground? Do I just connect all of them to a single point on the enclosure? It seems like most other diagrams have the ground going throught the switch at some point, too. I don't know if that's just because of the led's or what. I swear I searched for at least an hour and haven't found the answers I need.

Thank you in advance,
Matthew

It looks like it will work. The red wires are grouped and the gray wires are another group.

As for grounds, just connect the ground lugs on the jacks together with wires.

Thank you for the reply! Now, should I use pull down resistors to help stop pops while switching? I think there are a few other topics on this, so I'll check those out as well.

*edit - or is it not a problem because I'm not using any power?
