DIYer,
:(   I don't know how to measure an inductor mH (audio transformer type) and its ohmage which I could use for WAH project. The project needs 500mH. I do both have VOM and DMM or do I need something? Guys thanks in advance.

You can easily measure the resistance with the DMM.

As for the inductance....do you have an oscilloscope and/or signal generator?
do a search for "measuring inductance"

and check your DMM, some have a function to measure inductance

Thanks Birt, Mine I don't have :icon_cry:
only DC/AC voltage and current, Ohm resistance, diode and transistor testing, continuity buzzer.

Look in the FAQ, there's a pointer to a low cost inductance meter.

Here's a link on how to measure inductance with your PC's sound card. Basically, you make an oscillator with it's freq depending on the inductance...

It's in german but with google translation it should be fine
