I'm looking to wire a ts808 i built without a bypass switch, simply a power swtich. I plan to build it into another project I have.

I'm not to sharp about offboard audio wiring... I'm also pretty new at everything else.

Can anyone tell me how to wire the power and input cables up without a bypass in words I can understand?

:P

i'm new to the forum and i guess i put this in the wrong place. i'll just post it in the general? thanks.

just take the ins/outs from the circuit straight to the jacks, then put a switch on the ground lead of the battery/jack.

I'm pretty un-knowing about these things some one will have to spell it out for me... There are three connections, +9V, GND, and IN. I have two wires coming from my input jack, and +/- wires power wires. I see four wires and three connections i'm lost!

I'm pretty good at accurately following directions which has gotten me well through the entire unit but the moment I have to make up something on my own I get lost very quickly.

The sleeve of the input jack is ground - so it will go with the ground of your circuit and ground of the battery (black wire)

so the ring of the input goes right to the black power wire, the positive goes to the +9V, and the tip goes to the IN?

yes, and also a wire from the middle lug of the volume pot will go to the tip of your output jack.

middle lug of the volume pot will go to the tip of the output jack... I think I get everything thanks alot :)
